Beach Break

Beautiful stay, well equipped home with all the amenities. Loved the outdoor shower, peaceful neighborhood & the weather was stunning. Fab restaurant down the road Molly B’s & great coffee too.

After a bad experience at another listing, we moved here on short notice.
It’s like home! Beautiful, clean and spacious.
We were very happy and would come back again and again!

Beautiful location, heaps to do! The place came with 2 so goes kayaks and at least 2 mountain bikes that we could use whenever. The beach is a 2 min walk from the house. There was a great outdoor shower with warm water outside to wash off sand or for a lovely late night shower under the stars. Everything within the house is great quality especially the kitchen appliances. Great for families and very open, beachy and flowy feel to the whole house.

We were positively surprised how homely the place felt. It had books and puzzles, a really cozy fireplace and a lot of light coming in. We extended the place by another two days.
While looking at pictures, it seemed that there might not be enough privacy, but we did not feel that way while there.
I went for morning runs at the beach, it was easy to get to Takaka and nearby walks & trails.
Even if you have a rainy day or two, it’s a really cozy place to read next to the fireplace, watch a movie or cook at “home”.
I would certainly recommend it and come back again if I was in the area.

Our two families had a great time here despite being hit by bad weather. We had space and facilities to play games, cook and bake, hook up the Nintendo to the tele and have a wander around the local shops. Whenever the rain eased up we walked along the beach or have a short dip in the ocean.

Incredible place to stay with kids. Close to the beach and it really is a perfect home to feel relaxed in. Loved it!
