A great base for exploring the Abel Tasman region. The place was roomy and clean and we enjoyed being able to stargaze right from the front yard. Would definitely recommend.

Black house cottage is an old cottage with character, comfortable and well equipped. About 15 minutes walk from Mapua shops and 25 minutes from the wharf. A good base for exploring the area.

A wonderful space for a small group. The cottage is very well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is modern and the beds big and comfortable. The setting is peaceful and private. The host was very communicative, making self check in and out very easy. Would love to stay again.

Loved this cottage! Large and spacious. Retro in feel but with modern facilities. Great to have a washing machine and ample drying space. Wrap around garden. With tree swings (which my 8yo loved)! And utterly private which was a real bonus after staying in two places which were more ‘at the bottom of someone else’s garden’.

Fantastic cottage to venture up to Abel Tasman. Great location conveniently located between Nelson and the national park. Great hosts and even better space. Would highly recommend!
