My one recommended would be to spring for the ride to and from, as the hike there is pretty brutal.

We’ve just had a lovely stay at Rocky Point. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, the photos don’t do it justice. The place is simple but well equipped for a short stay, and the bed was so comfortable.
Sian and Holly were really helpful, responsive, and welcoming hosts.
Really recommend for a truly unique, serene stay.

What a unique experience to end our trip around the South Island! Rocky Point Hut was just what we needed for ultimate relaxation and seclusion. We enjoyed exploring the trails and beach and all parts of the cozy hut (— nothing like grilling on what felt like the edge of the island & the tub was as good as it looks!) Holly and Sian were great communicators and made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for a perfect retreat!

Very beautiful location! (Rocky Hut) Very private and quiet, surrounded by the sound of nature. A private beach not too far away well worth the walk. Hike to the hut is challenging but well worth the effort with a rewarding bath over looking the ocean! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

A very beautiful location! (Rocky Hut) Very private and quiet, surrounded by the sound of nature. A private beach not too far away well worth the walk. Hike to the hut is challenging but well worth the effort with a rewarding bath over looking the ocean! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

The most stunning place we stayed on our whole trip. amazing to be so private, the Bathtub is what sold it and it lived up to the photos! the beach is a tricky climb down especially at high tide but so worth it. cannot put into words how incredible this place is. we would come back in a heartbeat.
