We loved our stay so much that we added an extra night. The location was fantastic, the house was spotless and the views of the river were just beautiful. We were sad to leave and will certainly be back when we next visit Nelson.

This house by the side of the river was lovely. Lots of wildlife to look at. The home is both inviting and relaxing. Beds are comfy. A delightful place to stay. I highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at the Sunny Riverside Retreat! The location is beautiful, with stunning views from the house over the river. The setting feels very private and quiet. It was easy to stroll over the footbridge into Nelson to access restaurants etc. The house has obviously been updated to a high specification. We particularly enjoyed having the ability to do some laundry and the separate, 2nd toilet room. I would definitely love to do a longer stay here sometime.

Sian’s property surpassed expectation. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean, so it was easy to cook meals there and enjoy the beautiful setting. We loved the location with the easy walk into town and the walks along the river. Sian was a great host.

A gem. Walking distance from city centre, private with peaceful riverside view of Maitai river and walkway. well equipped kitchen, full sized appliances. 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets. Large homely living space. Easy to cook all our meals over 4 night stay. Used all appliances. Very clean and comfortable . A super place to relax……3 tvs, great reading material but 2 pensioner couples needed none of these.
