About this listing
Mārahau is a sea side village in the Tasman District of the South Island, approximately 19 kilometres from Motueka and 10km from Kaiteriteri. Its location on Tasman Bay and at the southern entrance of the Abel Tasman National Park makes it a popular holiday destination for those keen on outdoor activities.
It is the main gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park and has a lovely long sandy beach which is safe for swimming and at low tide you can wiggle your toes in the sand to catch cockles .
You can book water taxis, hire kayaks, embark on a canyoning adventure or set off on the Coastal Walking Track. The sleepy settlement is the perfect place to get away from it all.
Fale Va'a is in the centre of Marahu on a quiet cul de sac just 2 minutes from the beach. This is the perfect location with everything in easy, flat walking distance. The home is on a flat and sunny section surrounded by mature trees for privacy. The garden is fully fenced to keep the children safe.
The house is modern and comfortable with ample room for everyone. The living area is open plan with a large dining table and well equipped kitchen.
If your group exceeds 6 guests there is also a garden studio with it's own bathroom and will sleep three guests. The studio will only be available for bookings over 6 guests.
We look forward to welcoming you to Fale Va'a
