The open-plan living space is functional and comfortable, with wonderful indoor outdoor flow. It is spacious yet cosy, everyone will feel at home.

The house enjoys a central position with amenities close by. The Mapua Wharf is 450m and 300m to the  Four Square, all the cafes, restaurants, excellent coffee, local shops and artisans all easy walking distance.

The large, open-plan living comprises the kitchen, dining area and lounge. The modern kitchen has plenty of prep space and from where you can keep an eye on the kids in the lounge or in the garden.  There is everything you need to feel at home and cooking for the group will be a breeze.

The large dining table is central to this area seating up to 8 guests, perfect for family dinners.

In the lounge area there is plenty of seating for all of you to sit down and relax.

The patio and garden is a great space with dining table and chairs and a gas BBQ. It enjoys all day sun and is the perfect hang out on the bean bags with a good book.

All four bedrooms are of good size with comfortable beds and linens. The master has a super king-size bed: with en-suite shower room and walk in wardrobe. The 2 further bedrooms have queen beds, with the fourth bedroom with bunks for the kids.  All the rooms are light and spacious.

There is also a family bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, a WC, a basin and a heated towel rail and a separate WC.

The laundry is in the garage with a washer and dryer machine. There is plenty of room to store your bikes and parking for 2 cars or a car and a boat on the driveway. The property is also fully fenced.

The Neighbourhood

We are walking distance to the village where there is a great selection of restaurants and cafes, including,  Alberta’s, Rimu Wine Bar, The Bear Brewery, the Sprig and Fern(who also do takeaways) The Smokehouse, The Apple Shed, The Jellyfish  and the Mapua Indian Eatery. The Smokehouse and Ruby Bay Takeaway are great choices for Fish and chips on the beach.
There are also some lovely gift shops and art galleries in the village as well as artist galleries, potteries and wineries galore in the surrounding area.

Jumping off Mapua Wharf at low or high tide, is a local and visitors  favourite.

We are perfectly placed to explore Nelson, Richmond, Motueka and the Abel Tasman National Park.

Local beaches close by;
Ruby Bay, a pebbly beach with mountain view 3km
Rabbit Island 10km by road or catch the Mapua Ferry with your mountain bikes. Lovely sandy beaches and reserve with picnic tables and BBQ areas
Kaiteriteri Beach stunning golden sand beach 25km
Tahunanui Beach 28km, locals favourite, lots of entertainment for kids and adults.

The Great Taste Cycle Trail is close by and goes as far as Kaiteriteri one way or Nelson the other way via the Mapua Ferry which connects Mapua To Rabbit Island. Bikes can be hired in Mapua.

The Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park and Nelson Lakes National Park are all close by and driveable in a day.

Mapua Sunday market (to end of April) 10am to 2pm.
Motueka Market is also on a Sunday
Nelson Market Saturday with lots of arts, crafts and food
